My journey in woodworking, the art of crafting things out of wood, began with an undergraduate woodworking and design class, and three decades later that journey continues forward. As with any form of art, you begin with a blank canvas (or a hardwood slab in this case) to create something new employing the right combination of design and execution. Woodworking is a skill as well as a passion, and I love it because every piece of wood presents different challenges and endless possibilities; such is the same for every piece of furniture or home improvement project.
